2010 Christmas / Holiday Hairstyles and Makeup. One of my top choices in hairstyles for Christmas and for the Holidays would have to be updos. Updos are a sophisticated look that if done correctly can instantly add volume to your hair. Plus since there is an array of different updos one can create, it’s a look that works for everyone. From the perfect chignons, to even adding looks with braids be sure to be creative with your hairstyle. Curls and waves are also perfect for the holidays. From the look of deep waves, to loose waves this look can easily be created with heat or by simply braiding ones hair when wet and upbraiding it the next morning. To add flair to any hairstyle you can add accessories to give it more of a holiday feel. Hair pieces such as headbands, flowers or pieces that remind you of little crystals or pearls are perfect for the holiday season.

Makeup

Some of my favorite looks for the holidays includes ones with a strong bold red lip. Playing up the lips for the holiday season will create the perfect festive look. Dab some gold shimmer on your eye for even more sparkle and a light flushy red color on your cheeks to really warm up your look. Smokey eyes with a soft gray hue is also a favorite for many during the holiday season along with eye shades of soft silvers and colors that sparkle in the light.
