Can Hair Color Damage Your Hair?

Can Hair Color Damage Your Hair? One of the biggest reason women are afraid to take the leap into a new hair color is because they are afraid in the end the color will end up damaging their hair. If you’re one of those women don’t be afraid because if your color is done the right way you will not damage your hair.

Of course each case is different,  but if you overprocess your hair and are using color incorrectly you do risk damaging your locks. Which is why I always suggest getting your hair professionally colored. Things such as color, relaxers, flat irons combined can really mess up your hair. Especially if you use these items on a daily basis. In order to prevent damage from happening you should get process done every 4-6 weeks, and color highlights every 2-3 months. You should always try to moisturize your colored treated hair with color treated shampoo and conditioner and always get hair masks or deep conditioner treatments at least once or twice a week to keep your hair healthy.

Hair Trend Hair Roots Slightly Exposed

Hair Trend Hair Roots Slightly Exposed. Lately I’ve been noticing a new hair trend on the rise, hair colored with hair roots slight exposed, and in a good way I might add. This look can be very tasteful and looks best if worn down instead of up. To wear this hot trend be sure your hair has been colored first and simply let your hair grow out. Wear a zig zag part or a side part to make the roots being exposed more trendy.

Funky Hair Colors

Funky Hair Colors

Sometimes, I don’t want stick out too much. I will look just like everyone else, and not draw attention to myself at work or at home. Other times, however, it is different. I can’t get enough of a funky hair color or an unusual style. Having the right funky hair colors can really change the way people react to me. They will think I’m strange or different, unusual or special. Some of this attention is negative, but some of it is positive too. Either way, it can feel good to have people paying attention to you. I know that I like it.

My favorite semi permanent color is blue. A lot of people think that this looks too artificial, but I disagree. It is not looking artificial that is unfashionable, it is looking garish or uncomfortable. If you have bright purple hair, for example, or even worse, pink hair, people will find it hard to look at you. But blue is just a funky hair color that everyone can get into. Of course they will know it’s a dye job, but that is the whole point. With blue hair, you can do things your own way and still harmonize with your surroundings. That is what a funky hair colors all about.

Of course, you should look at pictures of hair color before you settle on anything semipermanent. After all, your hair will never look quite the same until you grow it out again. Even if you dye your funky hair color back to normal, the dye will still have lingering effects in your hair. The color will not be quite right, the highlights will be different, and the texture will be different. This is why it is important to only choose a funky hair color if you really want it. If you’re not sure what you want, try dying your hair a slightly lighter shade. Do not do something bold unless you really are prepared to go with it. Otherwise, you will have damaged your hair to no good end.

One of the great things about funky hair colors is that you do not have to worry too much about trends. After all, if you’re using a funky hair color you are saying that you don’t care about convention. To return to my example of blue hair, when it is in style it will look fashionable and when it is out of style it will look counter cultural. Either way, you can’t lose.
