fall fashion 2010. Every year there is one color that takes over the fashion world and this year it’s black. Black is the new black for fall fashion 2010. Many designers used black hues in their collections which is perfect for fall since we’ll also be seeing many tailored and sophisticated suits for women as well as menswear tailoring. Bohemian styles were also seen in many designer shows frilled pieces featuring layers of velvet and lace. Sheer fabrics were also popular, garments that hugged the body and showed off a women’s beautiful silhouette. Lingerie even graced the runway as many designers move forward with the lingerie as outwear trend.

Another item was that very popular this season included fur. Fur was seen on everything from footwear to coats and hats. Other trends that graced the runways for fall included shiny embellishments such as jewels and metallics, draped garments, mixed patterns, rich bold colors, and geometric designs.
